The Gardeners

In a world perishing from the Rot--a mysterious evil magic that is killing the planet--humans look to the recently instated Fire Priest, Vin of Sunburst, to be saved.  Vin has no idea what he's doing, and that becomes clear enough to the Monster (creatures the humans believed were responsible for the Rot.) he saves from being sacrificed. It takes kindness and trust for the two to reconcile their differences and find a way to save the world they both share.
