The Gardeners

After being found as the new Fire Mage, Vin is called to kill a monster of darkness to prove himself to the people. Unable to kill another living being, he accidentally binds himself to the monster. They run away, and in their search to break the curse binding them together, they find that their fates are tied in more than one way.
