Storytelling is my greatest passion in life. I love analyzing stories, reading them, and especially creating and telling them. 

 

I had originally planned on going into a much more logical career after graduating from a science and technology-focused high school. After taking a nearly two-year sabbatical in Russia I realized that wasn't the right path for me. Changing my major and trajectory was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life (besides marrying my best friend). 

 

My spouse and family have been some of many exceptionally supportive people in my life who have helped me become the type of writer and artist I am today, as well as shaped the stories I want to tell. 

 

To summarize what I want to accomplish with my work: I want to create work for adults that is introspective, hopeful, and loving in the way that younger audience works of fiction often tend to be. Adults need hope and wonder in their lives too.
